To support the program of the Directorate General of Spatial Planning, the Indonesian Association of Urban and Regional Planners (IAP), with support from Citieslab, organized a Workshop on Accelerating Processes and Strengthening the Substance of Detailed Spatial Planning (RDTR). The workshop was designed to enhance the efficiency of planning processes, enabling faster delivery while maintaining the quality of RDTR outputs.

Held on August 10, 2023, at The Sultan Hotel Jakarta, the workshop brought together 106 participants from various professional backgrounds. The sessions featured seven key topics: RDTR digitalization; digital geo-platforms and field surveys using 360° cameras; earthquake microzonation analysis; the application of nature-based solutions in urban areas; the use of Twitter to enhance public participation in RDTR planning; a human-scale planning approach; and the potential for economic growth through RDTR implementation.
