From November 20–22, 2024, Citieslab proudly took part in organizing The 2nd Rebana Expo: Asia-Pacific Metropolitan Planning Caucus 2024, held at Santika Premiere Linggarjati Hotel, Kuningan, West Java. The three-day conference brought together planners, policymakers, and metropolitan management experts to forge strategies that leverage the economic potential of urbanizing regions while steadfastly upholding the principles of sustainability and livability.

Convening over 100 urban planning practitioners from 15 countries and 34 provinces across Indonesia, the conference served as a platform to strengthen metropolitan management capacity through discussions on land management, infrastructure financing, metropolitan governance, and regional sustainability. The event culminated in the development of the Linggarjati White Paper on Metropolitan Development, a strategic document outlining recommendations on land acquisition reform, alternative financing schemes, inclusive land ownership, integrated regional planning, and capacity building — serving as a key reference for planners, policymakers, and investors shaping the future of metropolitan areas in Indonesia and the Asia-Pacific region.
