The Breakfast Discussion: Indonesian Cities & the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) was held on 17 June 2026 at Le Méridien Hotel, Jakarta. Organized by Citieslab Nusantara and Smart City Orchestra LLC – Southeast Asia, Australia & Pacific, the high-level forum brought together senior government officials, city leaders, urban planners, academics, development institutions, and private sector representatives to discuss the future of sustainable urban development in Indonesia. The discussion focused on strengthening collaboration, accelerating SDG implementation, and advancing smart city transformation to address the opportunities and challenges of rapid urbanization.

The program featured opening remarks by Ir. Bernardus Djonoputro, MM, followed by keynote insights from Guest of Honor Dr. Bima Arya Sugiarto and the Mayor of Heidelberg, who shared perspectives on translating global commitments into local action and building resilient, climate-neutral cities through innovation and collaboration. The forum also included a presentation by Hendricus Andy Simarmata on Indonesia's urban challenges, the SDGs, and smart city development, followed by an interactive discussion that encouraged participants to exchange ideas and identify practical strategies for creating more sustainable, inclusive, and livable cities across Indonesia.
