IKN Livable Lovable

In 2023, Citieslab supported the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and ARUP in conducting a Livability and Lovability study for Nusantara, the future capital of Indonesia. The primary goal of this assignment was to help the Nusantara National Capital Authority (NNCA) identify and assess potential priority investments aimed at enhancing the livability and lovability of Nusantara.

As part of the study, Citieslab conducted a planning charrette with local communities and key stakeholders to gather aspirations and insights on how to build a city that is both livable and lovable. The charrette also focused on identifying the essential elements that make a city livable and lovable. The results of this study are expected to provide recommendations that will help the NNCA enhance the livability and lovability of Nusantara, ensuring that the city meets the aspirations of future residents and investors.
