In 2023, Citieslab presented another book review at the Library of Martatiahahu Literacy Park. It encouraged young urban planners to grow a love for reading and foster critical thinking in urban issues. Andy Simarmata, the “22 Ideas of Planning” book writer, has dedicated 22 years to urban planning and is the current president of the Indonesia Association of Urban and Regional Planners (IAP). 

He brought various ideas and innovations to address urban issues into the book and the discussion. The dialogue attracted a diverse audience and young aspiring panelists, including academics and urban planning students. The talk not only marked Andy’s remarkable career journey but also a rich forum for exchanging ideas and knowledge among the participants.
